What is Loud Shirt Day?

Loud Shirt Day is a global campaign held annually in October, dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds to ensure children with hearing loss continue to receive crucial intervention to help meet their goals.

How does Loud Shirt Day work?

add remove

Loud Shirt Day encourages members of the community to get LOUD and showcase their support by dressing in their best (or worst!) LOUD shirt and raising much needed funds for children with hearing loss. It is easy to get involved, all you need to start is a WACKY shirt and to register online.

Once registered start making noise by inviting your friends, family, workmates, community group, dogs, cats, basically anyone you know to join in the fun and get LOUD by donating or joining in on the LOUD celebration!

Why do I have to register online?
add remove

We encourage everyone to register online to join our online community with other LOUD fundraisers to share tips and tricks to get LOUD!

Did you know that supporters who actively fundraise online raise three times more than those who didn’t?

How do I ask people to donate to my Loud Shirt Day fundraising page?

add remove

The most effective way to get people to donate to your page is by asking them.

Share your fundraising page with all your friends and family via Facebook, Instagram, or email. It’s always amazing to see your family and friends support you in a cause you’re passionate about. Share your ‘why’ for participating and upload a pic of you getting LOUD to really connect and encourage their support. The about section on your page is a great place to share why you’re getting LOUD. You could even make a short video of your ‘why’ to share and make it even more personal.

What do I do with the money I have raised?

We kindly request everyone to share their fundraising link with their support network, enabling people to donate directly to your link. If you happen to receive cash donations, please deposit the cash at a bank and transfer the funds to your fundraising page.

If you are not registered or planning an event, you still have the opportunity to contribute by donating towards Loud Shirt Day. You can make your donation here. If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your local Loud Shirt Day team. They will be happy to help you.
