We’re excited to be joined by a very special guest - horticulturist and beloved broadcaster Sandra Ross, Director of The Garden Clinic and Ross Tours. With a career spanning more than 40 years, who better to share a sneak preview of the beautiful floral displays!
Everyone's favourite host, Qantas Pathfinders Ambassador Simon Marnie, from ABC Radio Weekends and ABC TV’s Escape From The City, will be back to entertain and delight us all.

Carnival of Flowers
Arriving a week ahead of the official opening, be one of the first to soak up the beauty of vibrant garden displays at Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park, last year visited by more than 470,000 visitors.

An experience awaits at beautiful Aberfeldy Barn, one of Toowoomba’s favourite event venues, where you’ll relax over a delicious lunch paired with award winning Chapel Hill and Krondorf wines in stunning rural surrounds.
Explore and discover
You’ll have a chance to immerse yourself in Australian history at the Cobb+Co Museum or sample delicious local produce at the charming growers' markets, all set against Toowoomba’s rich heritage architecture.

History
The annual Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight started in 2002 from a conversation between John Singleton and then Qantas Captain Roger Gee. Our first flight was to Qantas’ birthplace, Longreach, followed by day trips to enjoy the sights and wonderful food and wine of Uluru, Norfolk Island, Hamilton Island, Hobart, Daylesford/Ballarat, Sunshine Coast, Alice Springs, Queenstown NZ, Adelaide Hills, Mildura and Fraser Island. Special guests have included Cathy Freeman, Adam Spencer, Jane Rutter, Peter Cousens, Graham Wilson, Stefano de Pieri, Maggie Beer, Tara Moss, Ray Martin and Ross Symonds.
Since Pathfinders began in 1974 we’ve proudly raised more than $9 million for the incredible children with vision or hearing loss supported by NextSense through annual events such as the Charity Flight, Qantas Pathfinders Revue and Joey Joy Flight.
