Big post ahead

LOUD shirt day is the 20th of October and this year - WE HAVE YOU COVERED!!

Isabella will be making some shirts with the help of mummy and our friends at Black Diamond Designs Weddings & Events who are kindly donating their time help us!

The PROFITS from each item will go towards Isabella’s fundraiser, in your name!

This year we are raising funds for NEXTSENSE.

I will rewind and start from the beginning for those who are unaware.

Our darling Isabella was born with a moderate hearing loss, cause unknown. She is required to wear hearing aids all waking hours and we have attended early intervention services 1-2 times a week since she was 4 months old. Our early intervention service who have been by our side supporting not only Isabella but our family, every step of the way is NextSense. Without them we would be lost! They bend over backwards to ensure our big girl doesn’t miss out on her therapies. Eg throughout my pregnancies and after giving birth they did home visits and/or preschool visits and throughout covid supplied services via zoom. They also support us in seeking any additional services that we may need.

We have been blessed with the same therapist for the past 4 years so Isabella has been able to build a strong relationship and she has helped mould Isabella into the strong confident little girl she is today.

This year 100% of our donated funds will go to NEXTSENSE who are a non for profit provider, so they can continue to support families like us! With the support of generous donations, NextSense provides vital support for children and adults, more cochlear implants than any other service in Australia, and is a world leader for research, technology and professional education in their field.

If you cannot donate, thats ok! We understand times are currently tough for everyone. We do ask though, for you to wear your brightest shirt on the 20th of October to help raise awareness and support for children living with hearing loss.
